Mango Manicure: for dark knuckles, dull skin and bright healthy hands and nails.🥭💅🏻

Hello People,

The season of mango is here. Who doesn't love eating mangoes, especially when you have varieties to choose from? Mango is aptly nicknamed as "the supreme summer fruit". I'm sure everyone will agree, Covid-19 just ruined our summer plans but thankfully we have mangoes. So now summer 2020 is all about mangoes and nostalgia. Do you like mangoes, if then which variety? Let me know in the comments below (I love Alphonso and Sundari Mangoes).
Mangoes are rich in vitamin A, C and E plus beta-carotene. They are a wonderful source of skin-healing antioxidants to rejuvenate complexion, while vitamin A helps to protect and renew skin cells and mucous membranes. It's said to consume a mango daily in summers for healthy digestion and glowing skin. As you read by the title, this post is regarding mango delight manicure. This manicure is super easy (just 4 steps) and shall help people with dark knuckles or dull skin. Let's start with the tutorial.

Step 1: Take a bowl, add few flowers petals or orange peels. Add 1 tablespoon of coarse dead sea salt. Then add 3-4 drops of essential oil of your choice. Soak your hands for 5-8 mins.

Step 2: Exfoliate your hands with mango scrub (can be used on arms too). You can use Good Vibes Nourishing Scrub- Havana Mango or BioCare Mango Scrub or The Beauty Co. Coffee Scrub - Mango. You can make one at home, for this chop 1/4 of a tight mango, not too pulpy (I prefer Banganapalli mangoes because being a Telugu this variety of mango is must in my house, so was much convenient). Add 3-4 drops of coconut oil/1 tablespoon of frozen coconut oil and some brown/white sugar. Mash everything nicely, add sugar/oil until you get a thick scrub like mixture.

Step 3: Prep your nails i.e. push back your cuticles, clean the dirt and cut/file your nails. Apply cuticle/nail oil and leave it for 5 mins. For more details read post Hands like a hand model and Basic nail care.

Step 4: Next, apply a mango mask. Take 2 tablespoons of mango pulp, 2 tablespoons of besan, 2 teaspoons of almond paste/add 2-3 drops of almond oil and 1 teaspoon of honey. Mix all until it becomes a thick paste. Leave it for 15 minutes and then wash it off using warm water. Pat dry using a towel and then apply your favourite hand cream.

If you have extremely dry skin try this mask: Take 2 tablespoon of mango pulp, 1 teaspoon honey, 2 teaspoon yoghurt. Mix everything nicely and let it sit for 10-15 mins. When the mask dries up completely, use a warm washcloth to remove it. Rinse using warm water and pat dry using a soft towel. Don't forget to apply a hand cream to seal the moisture.

P.S. 1: The above steps are same for pedicure. In step 3, you would need a pumice stone or a foot file to remove dead skin. After mango delight manicure/pedicure, you can also use a TONYMOLY Magic Food Mango Hand cream or WOW Skin Science Mango Body Butter or The Body Shop Mango Softening Body Butter
P.S.2: I couldn't shoot the tutorial due to some reasons. I shall post the video soon on my instagram handle magical_manicures.visha_kv, so go follow me on instagram.

Have a mangonificent day. 🥭
