An Easy Nail Art..!! 💅🏻

Hello Ladies,

I hope you guys are doing well. I got a lot of feedback for my last nail art tutorial, many tried doing it but couldn't and then requested an easy nailart tutorial. Hence this post is for the ones who love nail arts but are not good at drawing. Let's proceed with the tutorial.

Things needed:
  1. Two nail paints, I have used glossy black and metallic silver shade.
  2. A tape, I have used masking tape (paper tape).
  3. Mini scissors
  4. Q -Tips
  5. Nail paint remover
  6. Top Coat
Things Needed

Step 1: Apply black nail paint on the desired nail or nails. Yes, you read it right. You can do it on all your nails, or on your index finger, or on your ring finger or on both. It's your choice, you do nail art for yourself and not to please others.
 😎

Step 2: Cut the tapes as shown in the pictures:

Decide the length of the tape according to the size of your nail.

Cut the tape into two halves from middle

Step 3: Place the two halves of the tape on your nail making a V shape. Refer to the video and picture below. In the video, you will notice the benefit of using masking tape. You can adjust innumerable times until you get the desired V shape.

Placing the tape in a V shape

Step 4: Apply the other nail paint of your choice. Let the nail paint dry for 1 minute. Refer to the video below:

Applying nail paint inside V

Step 5: Peel the tape gently. If the edges are not sharp, then possibly you didn't place the tape correctly. You can press the nail paint gently, to make it smooth. You can also fix mistakes using the first nail paint. Refer to the video below:

Peeling of the tape

Step 6:
Let the nail art dry and then apply the topcoat. Clean the extra nail paint/mistakes using a Q-tip by dipping it in a nail paint remover and you are done. You can do this in all your nails or according to your choice.

Summary:

I decided to do something different on other nails. Continue reading to find what I did. Also, the next steps are a little difficult and you will need a stamping nail art kit.

Things Needed:
  1. Stamp
  2. Scraper
  3. Design Plate
  4. Stamping Nail Polish
  5. Acetone
  6. Cotton Balls
  7. Q-tips

Step 7: Take the design plate, choose the design you want. Apply nail paint on it and then scrape the excess nail paint using the scraper. Now take the stamp and with a rolling motion press it on the design plate. Now that the design has been copied on the stamp, press this design onto your desired nail in a rolling motion. Tips and Tricks:

Tape Nail Art:
  1. This nail art can be done in any size or shape of nails. I have used ballerina shaped press on fake nails. As mentioned in the last post, I love press on nails. 😌
  2. Place the tape only when the base nail paint has dried completely.
  3. Try to make V in the middle or else the nail art won't look good.
  4. You can try making different patterns using tape and follow the above steps. Make sure while placing the tape, you press it nicely leaving no air bubbles.
  5. You can use a tape while doing a french manicure too or in step 2 of my bug nail art tutorial.
Stamp Nail Art:
  1. While buying a stamping kit, choose the one which has a plastic scraper. A metal scraper can damage or lead to scratches in your design plate. You can also use old gift cards.
  2. Your stamp should be perfect, buy good clear ones. Anything wrong with your stamp would lead to a disaster.
  3. Buy a stamping nail polish. If you can't find any, use a metallic or a matte shade which would fill your nail at one go.
P.S. 1: I'll do a full tutorial on stamping nail art again because something went wrong with my stamp and I couldn't proceed after doing it on one nail. Stamping nail art requires a lot of patience, practice and hell lot of trial and error. Sometimes, I wish to throw the whole kit into the bin, because there is wastage of nail paints, acetone and cotton balls.🥺 But if done properly, you will get beautiful results as you can see above. 😍

P.S. 2: I hope you guys liked the nail art tutorials. For time being, you guys can try the tape method and share your views.
